APPEARANCE

In Sarancolin ( Pyrenees ) , are located marble deposits . Several extractions are on the mountain and one is  known as the famous OPERA FANTASTICO. This is a multicolor marble. Difficult to describe because of his un-uniformity and variation, it includes grey, green, red, pink , yellow…Some blocks may have other colors more on the purple or yellow side.

Another extraction is also well know as VERSAILLES GREY which is grey with some inclusions of dark red.

Capacity of the quarries allows to supply projects up to 1000-2000M2.

Usual slab sizes are 220-260cm x 130-150 cm.

TECHNICAL DATA

They are marble ; frost resistant. Their uses are numerous. Their essential quality is their decorative appearance and sobriety. They are unique materials, among the most decorative stones in the world. As most of delicate and expensive marble, it is wiser to resinate and mesh back.

Like many marbles they are often found in interior : in flooring, wall cladding, kitchen (work plan), in the bathrooms , and most of the time for decoration. They take a nice polish .
