Description
APPEARANCE
Comblanchien is a sedimentary limestone and its constitution was spread over the last 150 million years. At certain times of sedimentation appeared small shells that have fossilized. This gave parts of blocks more or less shelly.
So when we saw a block parallel to the quarry bed, you get 3 types of Comblanchien:
– Beige slabs without shells, called Comblanchien Clair
– Beige slabs with some so-called fossils Comblanchien LM
– Beige slabs with many fossil so-called Comblanchien M
Most of the blocks comprise 2 or all 3 types, but in different proportions.
By cons, you can select the slabs and finished products by type, or to taste, mix all of them (Comblanchien DCN).
The Comblanchien is light beige in color, sometimes with a few slightly pink parties.
Comblanchien is cut with bed. It is a hard limestone. Usual slab sizes are 200-250 cm x 125-135 cm. It is suitable for large projects ( up to 10000M2 in a selection , or more if all types mixed)

TECHNICAL DATA
USES
Its uses are many and varied. The Comblanchien is a hard and frost resistant limestone.
We can use it outdoors despite the freeze; given its hardness can also be used in street (sidewalk and rolling paths) but also as residential terrace or pool floor; a flamed or a bushamered finish can make this stone anti-slip.
It can also façade veneer.
Indoor, of course, its utilization are numerous: in heavy traffic for paving in buildings receiving public, but also in building lobbies; staircases; kitchen or bathroom: worktop because of its low porosity.
