APPEARANCE

Villebois  is  a  sedimentary  limestone  and  its  constitution  was spread over  the  last  150  million years.

Quarry  shows different layers and depending on the layer, the appearance of stone could vary a bit particularly in the honed/polished and flamed finish .  The most available color is what is called Villebois Yellow , which in in fact a greyish color with yellow background.

Then  in  some  layers  ,  but  less  available  is  the  grey  color  with  a grey  background  color  named Villebois Grey.

Sometimes  you  could find  tiles    with  part  of  background  color yellow  and  part  grey.  We call  it Villebois Bayadere.  Villebois  is cut with bed.

They are hard limestone. Usaul slab sizes are 180-240cm x 120-140 cm.

Quarry capacity  allows to supply projects of 1000-2000M2.

TECHNICAL DATA

Villebois Yellow is suitable for large projects. Villebois Grey for medium sized projetcs.

Its uses are many and varied. Villebois is a hard and frost resistant limestone. We can use it outdoors despite the freeze; given its hardness can also be used in street (sidewalk and rolling paths) but also as residential terrace or pool floor; a flamed or a bushamered finish can make this stone anti-slip.

It can also façade veneer.

Indoor, of course, its utilization are numerous: in heavy traffic for paving in buildings receiving public, but also in building lobbies; staircases; kitchen or bathroom : worktop because of its low porosity.
