Description
APPEARANCE
The St Martin Belle Roche stone is extracted essentially from two locations just a few kilometers apart:
One producing the St Martin and the other producing the St Albain. They are usually cut with bed .
In St. Martin, there are 3 colors: grey, beige and yellow; St Albain has a color in bronze tones.
When these stones flame, heat reaction stains the yellow stones in pink, while the greyer of the materials becomes beige.
If you stay in a size not exceeding 40×80 cm or 16” x 32” , St Martin can be cut against veins : Grey, Beige or Yellow.
There is still a natural variation in color and inherent in the stone around these three basic colors. It is traditionally cut with bed but could be in small sizes cut against bed.
It is a hard limestone.
Usual slab sizes are : 180-220 cm x 120-140 cm.
Quarry capacity allows to supply projects of 1000-2000M2.
